It has been a great honour to receive a special acknowledgement in NSW Parliament in recognition of our contribution to the Arts in Sydney and the development of the Tanya Pearson Arts Centre for artists and educators.
This acknowledgement recognises the importance of ensuring the future success for generations of students by providing the optimum environment to learn and flourish.
Special thank you to MP Tim James and his team for expressing his appreciation of the significant contribution of TPA for the Arts.
2023 has seen our students flourish in their new home at the Tanya Pearson Arts Centre. Both the full-time and the part-time students have experienced many accolades and success throughout the year in scholarships, exams and Eisteddfods. We are so proud of all our dancers!
Congratulations to our Pre-Professional graduates who have secured ideal placements in prestigious companies and company schools and are now set on a path for future success in their careers as performing artists.
Our students are now busy working hard towards exciting performance opportunities in upcoming productions in Term 4. In a first for the Academy, we will be giving our students the wonderful experience of performing the full Nutcracker production with a live orchestra!
2024 will prove to be another exciting year with many opportunities for our students to flourish and thrive in the studio and on stage. With this in mind, we will be welcoming many special guest master teachers and a new addition to the Artistic leadership of the Academy which promises to take us from strength to strength.
