PART TIME ACADEMY OVERVIEW

The Tanya Pearson Academy offers elite level classical ballet training for students of all ages, from Tiny Tots through to Young Adults. The Academy, founded by Tanya Pearson OAM in 1971, is renowned for its long history of excellence in classical ballet training.

The Part Time Academy teaching and administrative team are committed to maintaining a positive learning environment that fosters self-worth and respect for others.

The part time classical ballet program provides the necessary foundation and coaching to support students who wish to progress to full time classical ballet training, but also those who simply wish to achieve their personal best and gain the most out of their classical ballet training. Complementing the solid ballet training, the Academy also offers classes in Contemporary, Repertoire, Character, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre, Pilates and Conditioning.

All TPA students are supported through their Royal Academy of Dance examinations from Primary through to Solo Seal.

Students have the opportunity to perform in the annual Part-Time Academy Production. Part Time students may also have the opportunity to perform in annual galas and full length productions, together with the Full Time Academy.

The Tanya Pearson Academy is a selective Academy offering quality training to dedicated and talented students. All new students Primary level upwards are required to attend one of our pre-arranged auditions to determine their suitability for the program and appropriate level for commencement.  There is no formal audition for Tiny Tots and Pre-Primary however each student will be assessed prior to moving up to Primary level.
