TPA AFFILIATE PROGRAM

The TPA Affiliate Program connects schools and students across Australia and worldwide, offering unique opportunities and collaborations aimed at inspiring the next generation of world-class artists.
Experience Elite Ballet Training with the TPA Affiliate Program
Tanya Pearson Academy (TPA) has a long-standing tradition of welcoming students from across New South Wales, interstate, and overseas for short-term visits. The TPA Affiliate Program provides aspiring dancers from regional areas, other states, and international schools with the opportunity to train with our esteemed faculty and immerse themselves in the unique training environment at TPA. This program is designed to offer students a tailored experience, whether they are exploring the pathway to full-time training or simply seeking to enhance their skills in a professional setting.
Through our Affiliate Program, visiting students gain access to exceptional training, industry connections, and insight into the professional ballet world.
How to join the TPA Affiliate Program
TPA works collaboratively with schools and teachers to create meaningful opportunities that support students’ development while respecting their existing training pathways.
Teachers are welcome to nominate students for the TPA Affiliate Program at any time throughout the year. This initiative is designed for students who are committed, show potential for growth, and would benefit from additional training and exposure.
Affiliate placements are limited and carefully managed each year to provide the best possible experience for students to participate.
OPPORTUNITIES
The TPA Affiliate Program provides aspiring dancers from regional NSW, interstate, and overseas with exclusive access to our training programs and workshops. Affiliate students train under our internationally renowned faculty and guest teachers at our world-class facilities, gaining valuable experience in a professional dance environment.
Affiliate students have the flexibility to visit TPA throughout the year, where they receive a tailored program schedule designed to suit their individual training needs. Some dates may be unavailable due to assessments, productions, and exams.
We also welcome group visits from schools and individual teachers who wish to bring dedicated students to experience training at our academy. For these groups, we develop a customised program based on student numbers, training requirements, and levels to ensure an enriching and personalised experience.
Beyond training, Affiliate students can audition for:
- TPA productions
- Australian Youth Ballet
- Eisteddfod groups
Affiliate students also receive priority booking and discounted rates for TPA Workshops featuring international guests. Additionally, they have the opportunity to schedule private lessons with our expert faculty to refine their technique and further their development.
Membership & Recognition
- Affiliate student memberships remain valid for one calendar year from acceptance and will automatically roll over unless cancelled in writing.
