Congratulations to all the students who took part in all the Mid-year Assessments this week and presented such a high-quality display of their achievements. It was particularly exciting to see the Pre-professional students dancing in the presence of David Hallberg, the Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet and Elizabeth Toohey, Ballet Mistress of The Australian Ballet. We were so proud of every individual students’ performance and the growing confidence in their artistry.

We would like to thank Juliet Burnett, former Senior Artist of The Australian Ballet and Principal Artist of Royal Ballet of Flanders, who gave her invaluable feedback as the Assessor for Levels 2, 3 and 4. A big thank you also to Chelsea Andrejic, former Soloist of the Slovak National Ballet for her professional feedback as Assessor for Level 1.

All students relished the incredible opportunity to perform in front of such highly regarded industry professionals.

It was particularly pleasing that parents of all students participating in assessments could be present and enjoy the wonderful performance given by their children.
