Andy impressed with his extraordinary talent beyond his years, delivering performances marked by grace, precision, and excellent technique. His classical and contemporary solos at the Sydney Opera House showcased a young dancer with exceptional talent and promising artistic potential.

This achievement reflects Andy’s dedication and focus, supported by the expert guidance of our TPA faculty. Sophia captivated the audience and adjudicators alike with her elegance, refined technique, and artistry across both her Classical Variation and Contemporary solos. It was a true pleasure to witness her perform with such confidence and excellence on stage.

Congratulations to our Adult Ballet dancers who performed with such passion and joy at our recent Adult Ballet Showcase held in our Performance Studio at the Tanya Pearson Arts Centre.

It was a truly special afternoon filled with warmth, artistry, and community spirit. We were also honoured to welcome the elegant Chinese dance groups, whose performances brought cultural richness and colour to the event.

Thank you to all the friends and family who came to support, and to our dedicated Adult Ballet Faculty for their wonderful work in guiding and inspiring dancers across all levels—from beginners to advanced.

Our Adult Ballet Academy offers performance opportunities twice a year and is open to adults of all experience levels.

Congratulations to our Adult Ballet dancers who performed with such passion and joy at our recent Adult Ballet Showcase held in our Performance Studio at the Tanya Pearson Arts Centre.

It was a truly special afternoon filled with warmth, artistry, and community spirit. We were also honoured to welcome the elegant Chinese dance groups, whose performances brought cultural richness and colour to the event.

Thank you to all the friends and family who came to support, and to our dedicated Adult Ballet Faculty for their wonderful work in guiding and inspiring dancers across all levels—from beginners to advanced.

Our Adult Ballet Academy offers performance opportunities twice a year and is open to adults of all experience levels.

Paul Knobloch
Biography

Paul Knobloch is a distinguished Australian choreographer, creative director, and ballet répétiteur with an extensive career spanning stage, film, and television. An honours graduate of The Australian Ballet School, he quickly rose to the rank of soloist at The Australian Ballet before joining Béjart Ballet Lausanne as a principal artist in 2009.

Throughout his career, Knobloch has collaborated with leading companies worldwide, including English National Ballet, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, West Australian Ballet, and Sydney Dance Company. His repertoire encompasses a wide range of leading classical roles and innovative works created in collaboration with renowned choreographers. As a choreographer, he has received critical acclaim and has been commissioned by companies across Australia, Europe, Canada, and the United States.

A highly sought-after teacher and mentor, Knobloch has shared his expertise with many leading companies across the world, including Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Tokyo Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, and numerous others. Honoured in 2001 as the ACT Young Australian of the Year, he is a highly awarded artist dedicated to pushing choreographic boundaries and inspiring the next generation of dancers. Currently, Paul serves as The Australian Ballet’s répétiteur for the National Tour and Storytime Ballet, in addition to working as a freelance choreographer and guest teacher.

Our Australian Youth Ballet’s Triple Bill marked a significant milestone for our full-time academy dancers. This inaugural full-length production featured the vibrant and youthful Viaje de Sueños, Chaplin - a powerful collaboration with acclaimed international choreographer Mario Schröder, and a breath-taking performance of La Bayadère alongside special guest principal artists Neneka Yoshida and Patricio Reve from Queensland Ballet.

Our deepest appreciation goes to our dedicated teachers and staff for their extraordinary contributions in preparing our students and bringing each production to life. Your expertise, creativity, and care for every dancer’s development are deeply valued. Thank you also to our incredible parent volunteers—your generosity and support are integral to every successful performance.
