NATALIE TAYLOR 

Natalie is a classical ballet teacher and a former TPA student. After competing as a Semi-finalist at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne competition in Switzerland, Natalie accepted a scholarship at the Hamburg Ballet School in Germany. In Hamburg, Natalie performed in John Neumier’s Peer Gynt and Nijinsky with the Hamburg Ballet, Hamburg State Opera’s Prince Igor and in the Hamburg Ballet’s Nijinsky Gala. As a student she also performed the solo role of ‘Molly’ in John Neumier’s Yondering at the Berlin State Ballet School Gala in Schiller Theatre in Berlin. Whilst at TPA, she was an Australian Ballet School Invitee and a finalist in the 2016 Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarship at the Sydney Opera House.

Natalie is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance and has also received training in Cecchetti and Vaganova. Natalie has a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management and is currently completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University. Natalie has always been passionate about the artistry and expression of dance.

Through Natalie’s knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, she enjoys enhancing the strength and execution of ballet technique in her students, and applies safe dance practices to ensure wellness and injury prevention. In addition, Natalie enjoys choreographing classical ballet solos and private coaching.
