SIOBHAN LYNCH

ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF ELITE PERFRORMANCE

Since a young age, Siobhan has trained in a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, Acro, yoga and improvisation and is also a past student of TPA. Upon graduating school, Siobhan commenced full-time dance training at Sydney Dance Company with their Pre-Professional Year receiving an Advanced Diploma in Elite Dance Performance. During her training with Sydney Dance Company, Siobhan was fortunate enough to work with over 70 national and international artists and choreographers including Gabrielle Nankivell, Juliet Burnett from Ballet Flanders, James Vu Anh Pham from Akram Khan Company and Sam Coren from Hofesh Schechter Company. She had the opportunity to understudy for Sydney Dance Company under Artistic Director Rafael Bonachela for numerous performances in 2021 as well as being involved in exclusive events such as the Cartier High Jewellery Gala, collaborating with Sydney Dance Company in February 2022.

Furthermore, in 2020 Siobhan successfully auditioned for and commenced at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) studying Musical Theatre.  She trained in the areas of Acting, Voice, Solo and Ensemble singing and Dance. Whilst at Nida, Siobhan received mentorship from leading industry professionals including Philip Quast and Simon Burke.  

Siobhan has also completed her Yoga Teachers accreditation and is passionate about sharing this practise as part of a holistic approach to dance with the benefits of physical and mental wellbeing.

Siobhan is now an independent artist who most recently, has worked with a variety of establishments and artists including Chunky Move Company in Melbourne, Sue Healey and Sydney Festival. She is also part of Configuration Company which focuses on movement creation and collaboration with professional dance artists.

Siobhan enjoys being a dance teacher as well as a choreographer for solo and group contemporary works.

Siobhan is very excited to share her love for dance and the Creative Arts Industry with the students at TPA.
